Retreat

Folegandros Island, Greece

May 18-23

A creative retreat nestled in a private cove on the Greek Island of Folegandros.

You show up and we’ll take care of the rest.

An intimate setting of 5 villas nestled on the hillside of a private cove on the island of Folegandros. The venue is beautifully simple and rustic in design. All rooms and group spaces are open air.

Each room has a king and a single bed, private bathroom, outdoor shower and balcony with a view of the sea, accommodating up to 3 people. Each room has a fan but there is no air conditioning.

Meals served on an open air covered patio, prepared by a private chef, using local fare from the farm and sea.

A trail leads you down to the rocky private cove which is perfect for swimming. The island is also known for its stunning hiking trails and beaches.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner is prepared for you on site by a private Italian chef. We’re told he has trained at Michelin starred restaurants. They boast of sourcing food from the sea and on-site garden. It’s a morning catch from the sea, then prepared that evening for you for dinner sorta situation. We also can’t wait for pizza night, we hear it may be the highlight.

A C T I V I T I E S

We will venture out for a few excursions. We might visit the main town with a meal at a taverna and some art making on the go, or perhaps a boat adventure on the Aegean Sea.

Swimming on the private cove is available every day, just steps down from the venue and there may be opportunities to visit other beaches in the area as well. Additionally, there is access to hiking trails on the island.

Kind Words

“Thank you Jen and Emily for an exceptional retreat! You are both exceptionally talented and your warm approach created an environment where creativity flourished and friendships were forged.  From the exceptional location, cuisine, and engaging activities, every aspect was thoughtfully curated- just a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure- can’t wait to do it again!”

Kim

Self care is often advertised as going to get a massage or a manicure but I would argue that a retreat with Jen and Emily is the ultimate self care experience. You get to show up and be pampered with time to reconnect with your creativity and your authentic self. I left the retreat with a renewed sense of self and inspiration to continue to create! Thanks for a wonderful weekend of art, friendship, and rest!”

Adrian

“I couldn’t have asked for a more varied art/wellness retreat: painting &creating with a variety of mediums, creative writing and reflections, yoga and meditation wellness, and a chance to enjoy the outdoors. The retreat was one of the best I have attended, and I cannot wait to join another”
